in between/here to there
Four days/ Four SuperStart! luncheons/ 3 rental cars/ 7 airports/ 5 cities/ 2 dinners alone/ 1 walk on the beach during sunset. This/that has been my week. Granted, I have enjoyed every moment of hoping/traveling here and there to encourage ministers/volunteers to consider bringing their preteens to SuperStart. Yet I have counted every minute until I fly back home to Joplin. Sadly enough, the minutes seem to be against me at the moment because my flight out of Orlando has been delayed. Hopefully, I will still be able to make my connection in... wait, where am I going? I wish I had something witty to say about travel. Maybe even a parable about how I sat next to a nun/little girl on an airplane. You know, some Tony Campolo/John Ortberg jargon that would remind you to enjoy the simple things in life/call your mother. I have nothing for you. My well/glass is dry/half empty.

editor's note: I actually sat next to a little girl on my flight that was delayed. Now I am stranded in North Carolina. How about that?
